Rent a Professional Website for Your Business

Eligibility

Website rental is only available to clients with an active DPOM service subscription (PPC Management, SEO, or Social Media Marketing). This is an add-on service, not a standalone product.

Setup Fee & First Payment

£95 setup fee + first month's rental due immediately upon sign-up. This is non-refundable.

How It Works

1. Questionnaire: Immediately after sign-up, you'll receive a detailed questionnaire asking for all the information we need to build your website - your content, preferences, colours, style direction, and any specific requirements. Think carefully before submitting - this is what we'll build from.

2. First Draft: We'll deliver your first draft within 21 days of receiving your completed questionnaire.

3. One Round of Changes: You have ONE opportunity to request changes at no extra cost. Be thorough - this is your only free revision.

4. Completion: After your revision round, the website is finalised and goes live.

Important: Strict 31-Day Development Window

Your second monthly payment becomes due 31 days after sign-up, regardless of project status. Development formally ends at this point.

If the project isn't complete because:

• You haven't submitted your questionnaire
• You've been slow to respond to your draft
• You're still deciding on changes
• You've requested multiple revision rounds

You keep whatever has been completed, and normal monthly payments continue. Any further work will be charged at £50/hour.

We follow your questionnaire responses exactly. Design is subjective - if you want something specific, tell us upfront. We cannot keep redesigning because you've changed your mind.

What's Included

What's Not Included

• Content Management System (CMS)
• E-commerce functionality
• Email hosting or email addresses
• Domain registration
• Additional images beyond 5 per page
• Content writing (you provide the text)

Domain Requirements

You must own your domain name and provide DPOM with DNS access to point it to your website. Domain registration and renewal costs are your responsibility.

Image Policy

DPOM sources all website images on your behalf. You may supply your own images if preferred, but they must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum resolution: 1200px on the longest edge
• Format: JPG, PNG, or WebP
• You must own the rights or have permission to use any images supplied

Content Requirements

You provide the written content for each page:

• Maximum 500 words per page
• Supplied in a Word document, Google Doc, or plain text
• Clearly labelled by page
• Final content only (we build from what you supply)

Update Policy (After Website Is Live)

Your rental includes 1 free content update per quarter (every 3 months). This covers any batch of changes submitted together that takes no more than 1 hour to complete. Content changes only - text, images, contact details.

Additional updates beyond your quarterly allowance are charged at £50/hour.

Contract Terms

Setup Fee: £95 (non-refundable)

Minimum Term: 12 months, payable monthly.

After 12 Months: You can continue renting on a flexible month-to-month basis or cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. You do not own the website after 12 payments - it remains a DPOM rental.

Buyout Option

You may purchase your website outright at any time by paying the equivalent of 18 monthly payments. No credit is given for payments already made.

Upon buyout:

• You receive all website files
• Your site is removed from our servers 30 days after payment
• You become responsible for hosting elsewhere
• DPOM support and updates cease

Payment & Non-Payment Policy

Website rental payments are due monthly alongside your other DPOM services.

If any DPOM invoice becomes overdue: Your website will be taken offline until payment is received.

If payment remains outstanding for 30 days: Your website and all associated files will be permanently deleted. No refunds for partial months. A new website would need to be purchased to restore your online presence.

This policy applies to non-payment of ANY DPOM service, not just website rental.

Redesigns

Your rental covers your website as originally built. If you want a redesign (new look, new layout, new structure), this is treated as a new website and charged accordingly.

Cancellation

You may cancel your website rental at any time after the initial 12-month term with 30 days' notice. During the initial term, you remain committed to all 12 monthly payments.

• Your website will be taken offline at the end of the notice period
• All files will be deleted 30 days after cancellation
• If you wish to keep your website, you must exercise the buyout option before cancellation

Cancellation of your primary DPOM service (PPC, SEO, or Social Media) will also require cancellation of your website rental, as this is an add-on service only.

Extras & Add-Ons

Content & Intellectual Property

• You warrant that you own or have the rights to use any content you supply (text, logos, images)
• DPOM is not liable for any copyright or intellectual property claims arising from client-supplied content
• While renting, you may not copy, duplicate, or use the website files on another hosting provider
• The website design remains DPOM property until buyout is completed

Technical Limitations

• No guarantee of specific search engine rankings or traffic levels
• The site may experience brief downtime for essential maintenance
• Third-party integrations (booking systems, live chat widgets, payment processors, etc.) are not supported unless specifically agreed in writing before sign-up
• We do not provide technical support for issues caused by your domain registrar or DNS provider

Limitation of Liability

• DPOM is not responsible for any loss of business, revenue, or profits if your website experiences downtime
• You are responsible for keeping backup copies of any content you supply to us
• We are not liable for issues caused by your domain provider, DNS settings, or any third-party services
• Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service

Client Responsibilities

• You must respond to the initial questionnaire within 7 days of receiving it - the 31-day development window continues regardless
• You must provide feedback on your draft within 7 days of receiving it
• You must keep your contact details and payment information up to date
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before the site goes live

Forms & Data

• Contact form submissions are forwarded directly to your email address - we do not store them long-term
• You are responsible for your own GDPR compliance, including maintaining an appropriate privacy policy
• We include a GDPR-compliant cookie banner on all websites
• You must handle any personal data you receive through the website in accordance with data protection laws

What's Definitely NOT Included

• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - this is a separate DPOM service
• Ongoing content creation or copywriting (beyond initial build)
• Social media integration or management
• Blog functionality or news sections
• E-commerce, payment processing, or shopping carts
• Membership areas or login systems
• Booking or appointment systems
• Live chat or chatbot functionality
• Any dynamic or database-driven features
• Email marketing integration
• Multi-language support
