What we do for law firms
Content-led, white-hat SEO for firms that want the right clients to find them, planned by a UK team and sent to your own compliance lead to approve.
A person looking for a conveyancer, a person looking for a family solicitor and a business looking for an employment lawyer are searching for different things in different ways. Law firm SEO that treats them alike fails all three. We plan around the work a firm actually wants more of, one practice area at a time.
When it fits. When one “services” page lists everything the firm does and persuades nobody of anything.
What we do. A page for each practice area, then supporting pages for the questions people actually type, such as how long a probate takes or what a conveyancer does. Each says what happens, in what order, who does it and what it costs or how it is charged, in plain language.
Which packages: Local SEO, from £185 a month, and National SEO for firms working across the country.
When it fits. Many legal searches carry a place name. The firm that looks local to the town wins the click.
What we do. Each office gets its own Google Business Profile and its own page, with its team, address and local detail. We do not build pages for places where you have no office, because that is thin content and it misleads the reader.
When it fits. The SRA transparency rules ask firms to publish price and service information for certain kinds of work, such as residential conveyancing and probate. Clients also use that information to compare firms.
What we do. We shape the figures, stages and timescales you give us into clear pages and make sure search engines can read them. We never type a price you have not supplied, and your own compliance lead decides what the page must contain.
When it fits. A legal matter is a trust decision, often a stressful one. Reviews and recognised accreditations do a lot of the persuading.
What we do. A review request that fits your own client-care process, on Google and on Review Solicitors if you use it, replies drafted for you to approve, and your accreditations shown properly, such as Law Society schemes or panels you belong to. We never write, buy or incentivise reviews.
When it fits. A prospective client on a phone, perhaps in a difficult week, will not wait for a slow page or hunt for a contact form.
What we do. Speed, mobile layout, clean structure, an enquiry route on every page and the regulatory details your firm is expected to show kept visible. If the site needs rebuilding, our website service can do it.
When it fits. More people now put their legal question to an assistant first. A page that answers plainly, and shows who wrote it, is the kind of page an answer draws on.
What we do. Answer-first pages with an FAQ and a check that AI crawlers can read your site. Nobody can promise a place in an AI answer, and we do not.
Also part of law firm SEO
We write to the public SRA guidance and flag anything that needs your judgement. What a firm publishes remains its own responsibility, so the approval step is yours.
Pages carry the name and role of the fee earner behind them and a reviewed date, because Google weighs who wrote advice that affects money and lives.
One plan across offices and practice areas, so your own pages support each other instead of competing.

Before
After performing an audit, we discovered that LMP Law’s campaigns were poorly targeted with poor quality ad copy that resulted in poor CPCs and a low Quality Score.
What we did
We rebuilt the campaigns using best practices and introduced smart bidding strategies combined with better keyword targeting and ad copy to drive consistent growth without any increase in budget.

Common law firm SEO problems
These are the six things we meet most often when we look at a firm’s site, with our answer to each. Turn a card to see the fix.
The problem
What we do
A page per area, then pages for the questions clients ask inside it, each with an author and a reviewed date.
The problem
What we do
The price and service information you supply, laid out clearly and readable by search engines, with nothing typed that you have not given us.
The problem
What we do
We steer clear of loose claims, and where a funding arrangement is mentioned we ask you to confirm the wording. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
The problem
What we do
A request that fits your client-care process, aimed at the places clients look, and replies drafted for you. Reviews are asked for, never written or bought.
The problem
What we do
A Google profile and page for each real office, with its team and local detail. We never build pages for places you do not serve.
The problem
What we do
Nebula heatmaps and recordings show where they stop on a practice-area page, so we change the page rather than guess.

SEO brings the visit. Nebula shows what happened next: where visitors click, scroll and get stuck, on computers and phones, and lets you watch real visits back.

Visitors arrive from Google at all hours. Orbit learns from your website, answers their questions day and night, and when they are ready to enquire it takes their details and sends the enquiry to you.

Shows each visitor to your website a tracking number, so every call is matched to where it came from, Google search included, then recorded and transcribed. You see which pages and searches make your phone ring.

It's not only PPC that has been working for us, we have seen a huge rise in our organic search visibility thanks to our SEO campaign managed so successfully by DPOM.
The service provided by DPOM has been second to none. We were so happy with the SEO on our website we signed up to the Pay Per Click service too!
Took both seo and google services and happy with their service.

Who looks after your SEO
Every SEO package has a dedicated SEO specialist on our UK team who knows your site, plans each month’s work and sends it to you to approve. James, our AI account manager, tells you how your rankings and traffic are doing, day or night, and passes your instructions to your specialist.
AI does the routine, people decide. Your account manager can override anything our AI does, and nothing goes live on your website until you approve it.

Each answer is covered by our Transparency Guarantee. Keep the list handy when you speak to anyone else.
Does a partner or the COLP sign off pages first?
YesYes. Pages sit in Mission Control waiting for that sign-off, and they stay unpublished until it comes.
If a sentence worries us, can we rewrite or delete it?
YesYes, at any point before publication.
Is page one, or a number of new matters, part of the deal?
NoNo. Neither can be promised, so neither is.
Will you publish prices we have not given you?
NoNo. Prices and service details come from you, and nothing is typed from memory.
Do you take a cut of what we bill clients?
NoNo. A single monthly fee, quoted for your firm and agreed before we start.
What happens if we want to stop?
YesYou give 31 days’ notice. There is no long minimum term.
Do we pay more to be found in AI assistants?
NoNo. That work, called GEO, is part of each package, and no place in an AI answer can be promised.
Where do we see how it is going?
YesIn Mission Control at any hour, and in a plain-English report each month.
Starting law firm SEO
Whether you are leaving another supplier or starting from scratch, this is the order of events. Put these questions to us first.
A free, objective SEO audit. We show you, with examples, what your website and Google profiles do well and what holds back your visibility for the work you want, so the plan starts from facts. Start my free SEO audit
Onboarding. The work you want more of, your offices, who the fee earners are, how you handle price and service information, and what your compliance lead needs to see before anything is published. Your SEO specialist reviews your site alongside it.
Foundations. Search Console and Google Analytics connected, your Google profiles reviewed, baseline rankings recorded, then the first technical and page fixes once you approve them.
Build and grow. Practice-area pages published one at a time, the review routine set up with your team, and a monthly report that shows what we did and what comes next. SEO builds over months, not days.
New to SEO? The same plan, starting from your site as it is today.
Legal content
Google holds pages about legal rights, money and family to a higher standard than most, so who wrote a page matters as much as what it says.
Search engines group pages that can affect a person’s money, safety or legal position under the heading Your Money or Your Life. A page on contesting a will or on what happens at a divorce hearing belongs there, so a thin, unsigned page has little to stand on.
We build expertise and trust into the page. The fee earner behind it is named with their role, the page shows when it was last reviewed, and the firm’s regulatory details are easy to find. We write general information from what your fee earners tell us, and they read it before you approve it. We do not write advice for individual cases.
SRA rules
Solicitors advertise under rules set by their regulator. We write with those rules in mind, and your own compliance lead decides what is published.
The SRA expects publicity to be accurate and not misleading, and to make clear how a firm is regulated. We keep claims plain and ask you to confirm any that need evidence, such as results, rankings or funding arrangements.
For certain kinds of work, such as residential conveyancing and probate, firms are expected to publish price and service information. You supply the figures and the scope, and we make them readable and findable. We never invent a price.
We are marketers, not your regulator or your compliance officer. We work from the public SRA guidance, we do not give legal or regulatory advice, and we do not promise compliance. The firm is responsible for what it publishes, which is why every page waits for your approval.
Practice areas
A page per kind of work, with the questions inside it answered properly, is how a firm shows it knows the subject.
Conveyancing buyers want to know what happens, in what order and how long it takes. Someone dealing with a bereavement wants calm, plain steps. A business owner with an employment problem wants to know quickly whether you act for employers or employees. One page cannot serve all three.
So we plan the pages around your real practice areas, then add supporting pages for the questions people type, each answered first and in plain English. It is slower than one long services page and it works much better, for readers and for search.
Regions and cities
Clients often search for a solicitor in their own town. The honest way to win those searches is to show up where you genuinely have an office.
Each office gets its own Google profile and its own page, with its address, its team and some real local detail. That is what a person in that town wants to see, and it is what search engines reward.
What we will not do is build a page for every town in the county where you have no office. Pages that differ only by the place name are thin, they mislead the reader and search engines have learned to discount them. Our local SEO agency work follows the same rule for every business we look after.
Trust signals
Clients cannot judge legal work themselves, so they look for proof from other people.
Reviews on Google show up beside your map listing, and legal review sites such as Review Solicitors are where many clients compare firms. We help you ask in a way that fits your client-care process, and we draft replies for you to approve.
Law Society schemes such as the Conveyancing Quality Scheme or Lexcel, and any panels the firm belongs to, are worth showing clearly with the right wording. We only display what you hold.
We do not write reviews, buy them or offer anything in return for them.
Our legal experience
We have published case studies for three law firms. Only one of them includes SEO.
Sills & Betteridge Solicitors is the case that combines SEO with Google Ads. LMP Law and Hayward Baker Law are Google Ads case studies. We say so because you should know what each figure comes from, and because legal SEO on its own is a long game that nobody can promise.
For the wider picture of how we work with firms, see our legal sector page.
Law firm marketing
SEO is slow and lasting. Many firms pair it with something faster, and we can run both.
Paid search puts a firm in front of someone searching today, and you pay per click. Related: Google Ads management
If you are comparing a legal marketing agency with an SEO specialist, the useful question is who approves what goes live. With us, it is you.
If your site is the weak point, we can rebuild it. If it is sound, we leave it alone.
Work types
The words people use, and the state they are in when they use them, change completely from one kind of work to the next.
Searchers compare quotes, so the page leads with what is included, the stages and a realistic sense of timescale, using the figures you supply.
Calm, plain steps, with the people involved named. This is sensitive work, and the page should read as though a person wrote it for another person.
Often searched in distress. Pages need to be gentle, accurate about process and clear about how to take the first step.
These searches are about rights and routes, so pages explain who the firm acts for, how a claim usually proceeds and how it is funded, in words you have approved.
Fees
How a firm charges is one of the things people most want to know, and one of the most closely watched parts of legal marketing.
Fixed fee, hourly rate, conditional fee and other arrangements each need to be described accurately, with the extras that can apply. The details come from you, because they are your terms. We turn them into a clear page and keep the wording as plain as the rules allow.
If a page mentions a funding arrangement, we ask you to confirm the wording before it is approved, and we avoid phrases that suggest more than your terms deliver.
Business clients
A company director looking for a commercial solicitor is not browsing. They are shortlisting.
For business work, the pages that matter are the ones that show who the partners are, which sectors the firm knows, and how a first conversation works. Short, specific articles on the questions business clients bring, written with your partners, build the same authority that reviews build for private clients.
Listings
A firm appears in more places than its own website, and search engines compare them all.
The firm’s name, address, phone number and regulatory details should read the same on its site, on its Google profile, on the Law Society’s Find a Solicitor listing and on any directory it pays for. Where they disagree, trust drops, for the reader and for search.
We audit those listings during the first weeks, list what differs, and correct the ones within our reach once you have agreed the right version. Paid legal directories are your decision. We will tell you whether a listing is likely to be worth its fee, but we never push one.
Articles
Short, accurate answers from a named fee earner are the content that both clients and search engines trust.
The best articles on a firm’s site answer one real question: what a lasting power of attorney does, what happens if a buyer withdraws, how long a tribunal claim takes. We plan a list with your fee earners, draft each from their notes, and send it back for a proper read before you approve it.
Law changes, so every article shows when it was last reviewed, and we schedule a review for the ones most likely to date. Out-of-date legal content is worse than none.
First contact
A person contacting a solicitor often has something difficult to say, and the first step should not feel like a hurdle.
A name, a way to reach them and a line about what they need. Everything else can wait for the call.
Calls from search are tracked so you know which pages bring them, and when nobody can pick up, a good message with an easy next step matters.
We think about privacy on every form, so it asks for nothing sensitive and says plainly how the firm will use what is sent.
People and AI, together
DPOM has looked after UK businesses since 2011, and your account manager still runs your account. Behind them now is a system we built in-house: tools that turn visitors into enquiries, and James, our AI, watching your account day and night.
An experienced person on our UK team sets your plan, makes the big calls and approves anything you ask for. They can override or undo anything our AI does.
AI does the routine, people decide.

Ask him about your results, reports or next step in Mission Control, any time. He checks your tracking every weekday, flags ads that stop the same day and warns you before seasonal dips.
