Google has announced the latest update to its low quality content algorithm, Panda, is rolling out now.
Google state a “slow rollout” began early this week and is set to affect 3-5% of search queries.
Will Panda 4.1 help small and medium sites rank better?
According to Google, yes. Google claim that thanks to webmaster and user feedback they’ve identified more signals to help Panda identify low quality content more precisely.
Previously penalised sites rejoice!
It’s not all bad! If you’ve previously been affected by Panda the latest update should see things improve – provided you’ve improved you content.
Obviously, we’d expect to see sites affected negatively too and if that includes you, it’s time to start focusing on creating content with value rather than just for the sake of it!
